I listened to the music of Bob Dylan back in the 60s but it wasn’t until I got my first iPod that I appreciated his lyrics. A legendary rock and roll icon, his music has impacted generations. I love many of his songs but one of my favourites is ‘Gotta Serve Somebody’.

Radio, TV and the Press delivered the news. Journalists had professional standards of objectivity, fairness and balance. The main stream media (CBS, NBC, and CBC etc.) has reputations for investigative reporting and integrity. How have things changed?

Back in the day, I blindly accepted whatever I heard from the TV, newspapers, school, and government without a second thought. I trusted institutions. I believed they were looking out for my best interests. But times have changed drastically since then.
